How do you convert the rectangular coordinates (9, 0) into polar coordinates?

Hello,

x=r*cos t
y=r*sin t

==>r²=x²+y²  ;  r²=9²+0²=81==>r=9
y/x=tg t        ;  0=tg t==>t=2kπ we may use 0 in [-π π]  

so r=9,t=0
