The y-intercept is easily read:  it is (0,5).  The slope, m, is m = rise / run

       7-1
= ----------- = 6/3 = 2
      1-(-2)

Thus, the eqn of the line is y = 2x + 5.  In point-slope format, y-5=2(x-0).
