True. Because 5(4n-11)-3n+20 is 20n-55-3n+20 and when you add like terms together you get 17n-35 as your answer which is the same as 17n-35.

distributeiv propoerty
a(b+c)=ab+ac aka
a(b-c)=ab-ac

5(4n-11)-3n+20=17n-35
distribuet
5*4n=20n
5*11=55
20n-55-3n+20=17n-35
move like terms together
20n-3n+20-55=17n-35
