“W” will increase four time.

Explanation:

As work done (W) and Kinetic energy (KE) have same units. So, we will deal “W” in terms of “KE”.

                                                       KE = ½ mv^2   ……. (i)

Equation (i) shows that KE is directly proportional to the square of speed. So, if speed is increased two time then “W” will increase four time.
