Often, water is carried into the ocean by the flow of rivers, this wave of movement is known as delta. At other times, groundwater can make its way to the ocean by seeping out of tiny cracks made. The final way water can reach its way to the ocean is when it rains, water droplets will fall onto the body of water, depending on the force of rain this can be a large addition to the ocean.
