For the graphed function f(x) = 4^(x − 1) + 2, calculate the average rate of change from x = 1 to x = 2.

f(x) = 4^(x − 1) + 2
f (1)=3 f (2)=6
avarage rate=[ f (1) - f (2)]/(2-1)
=(6-3)/1
=3//
