A company is reselling shoes with a 20% markup. The original cost of the shoes are 29.95. What is the new cost of those shoes?

The original cost of the shoes is 29.95
10% of 29.95 = 2.995
so, 20% = 2.995 x 2 = 5.99
New cost of the shoes = 29.95 + 5.99 = 35.94
