Find the area of a sector of a circle with radius 7 cm and and central angle 240°.

The formula for finding area of a sector is angle/360 * area. Now plug in. Area of whole circle is 49pi. Central angle is 240. 240/360 = 2/3. 2/3*49pi = 98pi/3
