The volume of a cylinder is the area of the circular faces times the height of the cylinder.

The area of a circle can be found with the formula [tex]A= \pi r^{2} [/tex] where r (3 ft) is the radius. Substituting 3.14 for pi, determine the area. Then multiply the area by the height of the cylinder (2.1 ft), and round to the nearest tenth.
Don't forget your units!

Hope this helps!
