One solution; lines that intersect at a point (x, y). They have different slopes and may have different y-intercepts.

No solution; lines that are parallel. They share the same slope but have different y-intercepts.

Infinitely many solutions; lines that are identical. Therefore, they have the same slope and same y-intercept.
