You solve for y

4y=-6x+2

y=-6/4x+2

y=-2/3x+2

Slope is -2/3, the number in front of x is the slope.

Subtract 6x from itself and 2. That would leave you with 4y=2-6x. then you would devide 4y from itself and 2-6x. That would leave you with y=1-(6x÷4).
