A=pie r^2

2.2x2=4.4
4.4x3.14=13.816

To find the area of a circle, you do [tex] \pi [/tex] multiplied by the [tex] radius^{2} [/tex]

In this case, we simply do [tex] 2.2^{2} [/tex] x [tex] \pi [/tex]

~ 2.2 squared = 4.84

~ 4.84 x 3.14 = 15.1976

Rounding 15.1976 to the nearest tenth is 15.2 feet squared.
